I am very much intersted in learning more about being a Music Publicist. I have a great passion for both country and Christian music...but no "education" in the music industry at all.
My Sister has been in Country Radio for over 20 yrs, so I am really comfortable in and around the radio arena and reaching out to media contacts as well. Please tell me more, and provide any leads if possible. I am more than willing to learn!

- Sorry I haven't replied...the last several months have been difficult, and I have gotten off track a little on various networking paths that I had developed. I AM very much interested in learning more about the Publicist field that you mentioned.
I have been told that I am very prolific, and have have recently had some successful interactions with the media in promoting community related events that have been held at my church.

looks like this has really taken off for you! Good or you! With regards to an internship, first off where do you live? Are you near NY? I'm going to be making some changes both at the office and the studio come late September, so I may have a paid position avail. Most of the intern spots are taken up early in the year by local NYC students looking to get into the music Business.
